80-year-old Florence Henderson (aka Carol Brady) talks about her sex life
Eighty-year-old Florence Henderson, who played matriarch Carol Brady in the wholesome family show The Brady Bunch, has revealed that she has an active personal life including a “friend with benefits”.
“I like to date, but not every date needs to lead to marriage. I actually have a friend with benefits,” she told Closer Weekly, continuing, “He lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is a chiropractor. I really enjoy his company, but I am sure he sees other people, as I do.”
Henderson isn’t afraid to talk sex and intimacy, believing that the big taboo that “old people” don’t have sex needs to be dispelled.
“It’s foolish to think that older people don’t enjoy sex. It’s a big myth,” she said.
“There is no age limit on the enjoyment of sex. It keeps getting better. You learn to do things with more experience, intelligence and the ability to choose more wisely.”
Henderson, who turns 81 on Valentine’s Day, has spoken candidly about her personal life before revealing in 2011 that in the 1960s she caught an STD after a one night stand with a politician.
