Lisa Curry marks third wedding anniversary
Lisa Curry has been shining light on her struggle following the death of her daughter Jaimi from long-term illness last September.
But the former Olympian has found some happiness among her grief, celebrating her third wedding anniversary with her husband Mark Tabone on Tuesday, May 11.
She shared her happy day with fans on Instagram.
Donning her pink wedding dress, Lisa posed on the bonnet of a vintage car as her Elvis impersonator husband plants a kiss on her cheek.
She also shared images from their honeymoon in India, Egypt, Malta and Abu Dhabi.
This happy moment comes after Lisa celebrated her first Mother’s Day since her daughter’s death.
Sharing a series of photos featuring son Jett, daughter Morgan, and her grandchildren on Instagram, she opened up about her happiness and heartache.
The 58-year-old wrote: “A beautiful Mother’s Day morning spent with my beautiful husband, mum, children and little boo boos.”
She continued, “It was difficult to hide my sadness today … there are so many emotions … always being tugged from happiness to sadness.”
Lisa also shared her experience being a mum.
“We try so hard every single day to protect you, to comfort you, to teach you what’s important, to be kind to others, to follow your dreams … and then when you leave our nest, to do your best.
“To all our children, on earth and in heaven, you are our greatest achievements and our greatest loves. I am your mum and I love you with everything I have.”
