Mum opens up about giving birth to 6.3kg baby

A TikTok user has opened up about the birth of her second child after another user asked about giving birth to big babies.

One mum said that her son weighed in at around 6.3kgs.

"You wanna play the biggest baby? I got you. At 38 weeks and one day I had my second son via C-section with two doctors because he came in at a whopping 14Ibs, 0.6oz," the mum answered original poster Tawnee.

"Yes, I gave birth to a toddler, who then spent 11 days in the NICU where clearly he was the biggest baby in there. The NICU did not even have diapers for him or clothes. They had to go up to pediatrics to get size three diapers. And he came home in clothing (for) six to nine months."

People were quick to joke about the baby's size.

The baby drove her home from the hospital," one joked.

'That ain't a baby, that's the Michelin man. Just playing, good on you mama,' another agreed.

According to the Guinness World Records, the largest known born baby was born in Italy in 1955 and weighed a shocking 10.3kgs.
