Rebel Wilson heart-breaking admission: “So sad”

Rebel Wilson is as straight forward and honest as they come, quickly shooting to stardom for her affable personality and hilarious comedy gigs.

But now the actress has opened up about her own heart-breaking experience with sexual harassment in Hollywood, admitting she is still not comfortable naming who the perpetrator.

The 40-year-old spoke candidly on Ant Middleton’s show Straight Talking, saying an actor asked her to perform an act on him, while his friends watched and recorded it.

"Then he pulled down his pants and I was a bit entrapped in a room," she said, adding that both he and his friends were harassing her.

When asked if she had reported the situation, she responded: "I called my agent immediately and said this happened. We made an official complaint to the studio.

"But I'm such a professional that I was like, well I'm still going to continue with the job. Which now I might not have."

The beloved A-lister also revealed that a similar situation happened when she was in a hotel room in Australia.

"One was with a director in a hotel room, but nothing happened because, (this was in Australia), his wife called abusing him saying he was trying to sleep with me,” she said.

"Things that happened to me aren't that severe, but I'm still scared of naming the people.”

Rebel went on to reveal that losing 20kg was also sparked by years of self loathing, saying that she felt “so sad” for her former self.

She went on to say that she felt "so sad" for herself.

"I wasn't loving myself in the way that I should from 20 to 40 – that's 20 years. I feel so sad that I did that to myself, just not loving yourself in the right way," she said.
