The Masked Singer winner revealed

After a bumpy five-week season thanks to the pandemic, three celebrities were left standing on The Masked Singer: Queen, Frillneck and Bushranger.

Singer Kate Miller-Heidke’s Queen came second, but won the hearts of viewers with a gravity-defying performance that was dubbed “the best performance The Masked Singer has ever seen.”

The gripping act had fans saying KMH was robbed.

And Eddie Perfect’s Frillneck took third place, and was booted out first after singing an INXS classic.

The Masked Singer has gone through turmoil this season thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

While changes wee made to ensure social distancing, a back-up dancer tested positive to COVID-19, leading to a multi-person cluster.

The positive cases brought the show to a grinding halt, with all members of production required to self-isolate for two weeks.

The finale was filmed in an unconventional way across Melbourne, Sydney and New Zealand.

Osher-Gunsberg and Jackie O were required to film from a Sydney studio, while Urzila Carlson was self-isolating in her home country of New Zealand, so she joined the show via a video link on her laptop.
