Daniel Radcliffe's Melbourne apartment sells to the highest bidder
A Melbourne apartment that once belonged to Daniel Radcliffe has sold for an impressive $2 million.
The two-bedroom apartment in the inner city suburb of Toorak was purchased by Radcliffe's family in 2004 when the Harry Potter actor was working in Australia.
When he turned 18 in 2007, the house was transferred to the star, which became a base when he was both visiting and working in Australia.
He listed the home for sale in 2015 with a $2.5m asking price, but it was later withdrawn from the market after just eight days.
A company that listed Radcliffe’s parents Marcia Gresham and Alan Radcliffe as directors purchased the property for $2m in 2021.
They recently sold the apartment for an undisclosed price which the Herald Sun understands is in the low $2 millions.
The home boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a two car garage, an open plan lining area and stunning views of the Yarra River.
Radcliffe is best known for his role as Harry Potter in the world-famous movie franchise, which began filming in 2000.
