Hamish Blake offloads home to mystery buyer for record price
Hamish Blake and Zoe Foster Blake’s Richmond pad has sold for an eye-watering price, breaking a major record for the suburb.
The luxurious, modern three-bedroom home at 79a Rowena Parade, Richmond, went onThursday evening for $7.435m off a $5.9m-$6.3m price guide.
Jellis Craig Stonnington agent Carla Fetter said the new buyer is not to be named, but denied that they had AFL ties.
“It’s a really expensive one so I’m not in a position to say anything about the price … the buyer has asked us to be very discreet,” Ms Fetter said.
She said the home’s location and lavish fit-out were the major features that caught the eyes of potential buyers.
“It’s probably one of the best offerings in Richmond. It’s on Richmond Hill in a really prestigious area, but the house itself was spectacular.”
The celebrity power couple moved to Sydney at the start of 2020, buying a home in the posh Vaucluse area.
