A US fisherman has captured the heartstopping moment a giant shark approached his boat.

Jeremy Ballantine was fishing with friends at Barnstable Harbor in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, over the weekend when a large shark swam frighteningly close to their boat. Watch the heartstopping moment below.
