Royal Caribbean’s new cruise terminal is incredible
Royal Caribbean has announced plans to create a brand new cruise terminal in Miami, which will be the future home of the line’s new generation of Quantum class ships.
And as you can see from the gallery above, it’s really something.
Royal Caribbean chairman and CEO Richard D. Fain said in a statement, “We are truly excited to be working with Miami-Dade County and PortMiami to create not just another cruise terminal, but a truly iconic building.
"This new terminal is a symbol of our commitment to Miami, the city where our company first started almost 50 years ago. We can’t wait to bring an Oasis-class ship to PortMiami.”
The move is expected to be a real boon for Miami, pouring US$500 million into the local economy while creating 4,000 jobs.
What do you make of the new terminal design? Have you ever cruised with Royal Caribbean, and if so how did you find the experience? Share your thoughts in the comments.
