Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi have splashed out a whopping US$27 (AUD$38 million) on a new home in California.
The Montecito residence is a Balinese-inspired property with over 8000 square feet for the couple to relax and entertain in. The luxurious home boasts five bedrooms and 10 bathrooms for the celeb duo and their guests too.
Both DeGeneres and de Rossi have a habit of dabbling in the property market – snapping up a whopping 15 properties in the last 25 years.
The TV show host is notorious for her property investing, spending at least US$145 million flipping houses.
Their married couple's most recent purchase hosts a number of exotic features, with bamboo ceilings, flamed black limestone, distressed oak floors and alluring colour schemes.
A place made for entertainment – the property boasts an added guesthouse, complete with two ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen and a detached office.
