Magical sunrise at Stonehenge marks summer solstice
Thousands of revellers have camped out at Stonehenge this week to celebrate the summer solstice and catch the first glimpse of the rising summer sun.
And as you can see in the gallery above, the sunrise was magical.
For the first time since 1967, the summer solstice also coincided with June's full moon, nicknamed the Strawberry Moon. Nearly 12,000 people gathered at the historic site to celebrate the final transition from the cold of winter to the warmth of summer.
