The Royal Queensland Show, or the Ekka as it is affectionately known, is set to celebrate its 140th anniversary this year. The event, which is staged in Brisbane, will see competitors travel form around Australia to participate in 42 sections.
The Ekka’s a celebration of everything from agriculture to education, fine arts and fashion – and with music, bars, wood chopping and of course the famous sideshow alley, there really is something for everyone to enjoy about the event.
