See the view from the trees in Switzerland

The longest treetop walk in the world has just opened in Switzerland and lets visitors walk among the towering pines. At its highest point, the Senda dil Dragun is 28 metres above the ground - roughly the height of four double decker buses.

Spanning over 1.5 kilometres, the Senda dil Dragun walkway connects the two alpine villages of Laax Murschetg and Laax Dorf.

The walkway also features viewing platforms where visitors can stop to take in the scenic mountain views, as well as information boards sharing facts about the local flora and fauna.

The boardwalk is made entirely out of regionally-sourced wood, helping it blend into the surrounding landscape.

But the highlight of the new attraction has to be the 73-metre-long slide, offering a fun alternative route back down to ground level.
