TripAdvisor names top 10 beaches for 2016

TripAdvisor has named its top 10 beaches for 2016 in its annual Travellers’ Choice awards, with Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos taking out the top spot.

Turks and Caicos is an archipelago of low lying coral islands to the south east of the Bahamas. Grace Bay is an idyllic stretch of sand TripAdvisor describes as a “tropical dream floating in the Caribbean”.

Last year’s winner, Brazil’s Sancho Bay, came in at second mainly due to the fact that TripAdvisor considered it far more difficult to reach than Grace Bay.
