Lovely surprise for baby born on Spirit Airlines flight
Earlier this week we brought you news of the baby boy who was born on a flight from Ft Lauderdale to Dallas. Well Spirit Airlines, the carrier operating the flight, has decided to give the mid-air newborn a fitting present.
The 3.2kg Christoph, who made his dramatic entrance into the world earlier this week, will now enjoy 21 years of free flights with the airline, thanks to his efforts.
The birth took Christoph’s mother Cristina by surprise.
"Everything started happening very quickly," Fox 8 reports Cristina saying.
I didn't think I was having the baby because it was too soon, but after a few minutes I knew I needed medical attention. Soon after that, it was clear I was having my baby, and I was in pure panic."
