"Expectation vs Reality": Woman's reaction to hotel scam
A woman was left outraged after forking out on a hotel room with a gorgeous sea view, only to find out she had fallen for a scam.
Influencer Clarisa Murgia paid an obscene amount of money for the room with a view, which was advertised as part of a holiday of a lifetime across Europe.
Expecting blue seas, sailing boats and a view of the mountain range, the influencer was utterly disappointed when she found out that the breathtaking views was nothing but a poster attached to the wall of the building outside her window.
She shared footage of the "view" on TikTok, with the caption "Expectation vs Reality" and from one angle the poster looked just like the real thing.
But as she pans to the another side, the massive poster emerges attached to a crumbling white wall, with her actual view being rows of barred white windows and a dingy alley.
"Someone rented a B&B with a sea view. I feel scammed, guys," the influencer added.
"No one has ever deceived me like this before, hahaha."
The video racked up over 2.5million views, with many joking about her unfortunate situation.
"Not even my ex lied that much," one joked.
"My luck in life is summarised in this video," another added.
"That's why I always look at the location so I don't fail," a third wrote.
