"I'm going to pretend I don't have a Hunstman on me right now"

There’s been more than one unwelcome guest at political press conferences during the pandemic, but Queensland Health Minister Yvette D’Ath kept composed when faced with the most frightening one yet.
Ms D’Ath was speaking about the need for businesses to comply with vaccine orders when she was cut off mid-sentence by an eight-legged intruder.
“Okay, can somebody please get that spider off?” she said.
The Huntsman spider approached the minister while she was talking and made its presence known.
Chief Health Officer Dr John Gerrard quickly used a sheaf of papers to try to usher the spider away.
"This shows how controlled I can be," Ms D'Ath joked.
“I don’t like huntsman's, but I’m going to keep going,” she added, very calmly as the spider made its way onto her left shoe.
“If he comes anywhere near my face, let me know.”
Eventually the spider wandered off.
"Well, that was a moment, wasn't it?" said Ms D'Ath.
“We’ve got COVID and we’ve got spiders”.
