Royal fans spot resemblance between Princess Charlotte and young Princess Diana

The resemblance between Princess Charlotte and her great-grandmother, the Queen, has been widely reported, but a growing number of royal watchers online are saying they can also see a likeness between the two-year-old and her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

In new photos released by Kensington Palace to celebrate Charlotte’s first day at nursery, social media users were quick to point out the striking similarities between Kate and Wills’ youngest and the late Princess of Wales.

In addition to the same almond-shaped eyes, they even appear to have a similar hairstyle!

“OMG Charlotte looks like Diana,” one person commented, with another writing, “At aged just 2, similarities to her sorely missed nan Princess Diana are evident.”
