"She's not breathing": Family dog kills baby on New Year's Eve

A baby has passed away after it was reported the family dog was lying on top of her.

Four-month-old Raelynn Larrison was found dead with the animal lying on her on New Year's Eve in the US.

Police revealed that emergency dispatchers were contacted by a man at around 7 pm on Thursday in Montgomery County, Ohio.

Dayton Daily News reported that he woke up to find the animal on top of the baby, who was not breathing and unconscious.

“She’s not breathing. My baby ain’t breathing,” a man told the dispatcher, according to the outlet.

Raelynn was quickly rushed to the local children's hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Police are currently investigating the cause of death with an autopsy to take place.

A GoFundMe page has been established in the wake of the child’s death to raise money for her funeral.
