Baked honey almond peaches

Delicious when served with ice-cream, you have to try these baked honey and almond peaches.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons of honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • A hand full of sliced almonds

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Place peaches skin side down in a baking dish.
  3. Fill each peach with brown sugar, cinnamon, and almonds and top with honey.
  4. Fill the baking dish one to two-centimetres deep with water.
  5. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until peaches begin to brown.
  6. Serve warm with ice cream.
