Easy chocolate brownie with macadamia caramel sauce

This would have to be the dessert to end all desserts. With caramel, chocolate and macadamias, does anything sound more amazing?

Ingredients:

  • 125g unsalted butter
  • 200g cooking chocolate chopped into bits
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 cup raw caster sugar
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Macadamia caramel:

  • 250g white sugar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 150ml thickened cream
  • 150g unsalted butter, diced
  • ½ cup macadamias, chopped
