Mother duck shows her babies how to use the pedestrian crossing

As it turns out, ducks are pedestrians too.

A dash-mounted camera captured this adorable footage of a mother duck teaching her ducklings to practice caution whilst using the pedestrian crossing on a busy road.

Commuters stopped to accommodate the careful ducks, who made it to their destination unharmed and newly versed in the rules of traffic.

This makes us wonder: did the duck use the crossing by chance or did she recognise it to be the safest place to cross as per human action? Either way, it makes for endearingly compelling footage.
