URGENT RECALL: Popular pasta sauce pulled from shelves
<p>Jars of a specific Leggo's pasta sauce sold at Woolies are being pulled from shelves across Australia over concerns for the potential presence of plastic and metal fragments inside.</p>
<p>The recall is specifically for the 250-gram containers of Leggo's Fresh Napoli Sauce with Tomato, Garlic, Basil & Oregano, sold at Woolworths around Australia.</p>
<p>The affected products carry the use-by date of 02/10/2021.</p>
<p>Patties Foods Pty Ltd today issued the recall for the sauce, letting customers know there is a ‘potential presence of foreign matter (metal and plastic).’</p>
<p>The notice for the recall states: ‘If consumed, food products containing metal or plastic may cause illness and injury.’</p>
<p>Anyone who has bought the affected products are eligible for a full refund and they are advised to return the products to the store where they bought them.</p>
