Friend shares rare update on Michael Schumacher

<p><span>A close friend of Formula One legend Michael Schumacher has revealed his positive hopes for the family and the motorsport icon’s recovery.</span><br /><br /><span>Jean Todt has told German newspaper Bild, that he believes Michael will "slowly and surely improve" despite his debilitating head injury after a ski accident back in 2013.</span><br /><br /><span>"I've spent a lot of time with [Schumacher's wife] Corinna since Michael had his serious skiing accident on December 29, 2013," Todt said.</span></p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7843799/jean-todt-michael-schumacher-1.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/6e4cd786ab9643e19ca697dc4d588b2b" /></p> <p><em>Jean Todt and Michael Schumacher</em><br /><br /><span>"She is a great woman and runs the family.</span><br /><br /><span>“She hadn't expected that.
