Dolly Parton recreates Playboy cover for husband’s birthday

Dolly Parton is celebrating her husband’s birthday with a recreation of one of her most iconic images. Well, I’m 75 and they don’t have a magazine anymore … but my husband always loved the original cover of Playboy. “I was trying to think of something to do to make him happy,” she added. “He still thinks I’m a hot chick after 57 years and I’m not gonna try to talk him out of that.” The star explained that she did “a little photoshoot in this little outfit” and recreated her infamous 1978 cover, before comparing her appearance then and now. “In the first one, I was kind of a little butterball in that one. Well, I’m a string cheese now,” she joked. “But he’ll probably be thinking I’m cream cheese, I hope.” The video ends with Parton singing Happy Birthday to her husband while still in the bunny suit. Parton first said she wanted to do a second Playboy cover in 2020 when asked about her retirement plans by 60 Minutes. “Well, I don’t plan to retire. I just turned 74,” she answered. “I plan to be on the cover of Playboy magazine again. “See, I did Playboy magazine years ago. I thought it’d be such a hoot if they’ll go for it, I don’t know if they will,” she added. The songstress is still making music too, with her new single “Sent From Above” dropping on July 27. Hugh Hefner’s widow left out of will

Yesterday, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner died at his LA home of natural causes. The 91-year-old’s third wife and widow, Crystal Harris, is expected to inherit nothing from the entrepreneur’s $51 million will. It is believed that Harris signed a prenuptial agreement and is thought to have never been added to Hefner’s will. However, Us Weekly has reported that the 31-year-old model will be “looked after” following his death. Harris and Hefner married at the Playboy Mansion in 2012 when he was 86 and she was 26. Playboy announced no immediate funeral plans but Hefner is expected to be buried in a plot in a Los Angeles cemetery next to Marilyn Monroe. Reportedly, Hefner payed $100,000 for the plot next to the iconic actress 25 years ago. Hefner ran naked photos of Monroe in the first issue of Playboy in 1953 but the pair never met as the photos were taken years earlier. Celebrities have paid tribute to Hefner after his passing was announced. Pamela Anderson, who featured on the cover of Playboy more than any other person, wrote <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BZkyhOylX6A/?hl=en&taken-by=pamelaanderson" target="_blank">a message to Hefner on Instagram</a> accompanied with her a video of her crying. “Outside of my family you were the most important person in my life,” she wrote. “You taught me everything important about freedom and respect.” “People tell me all the time that I was your favourite,” she wrote. “You had a piece of paper in your pocket you showed me – with my name Pamela with a heart around it.” Hefner’s son Cooper remembered his father as a “leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time”. “My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer,” he said. “He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand.” Hefner first married Mildred Williams in 1949 and the couple had Christie, 64, and David, 62. He spent three decades as a bachelor and then married Kimberley Conrad. The couple had two sons together, Marston and Cooper. Hefner split with Conrad in 2010 and later that year he announced his engagement to Harris.

Bill Cosby to face new trial over alleged sexual assaults at the Playboy Mansion

Comedian Bill Cosby will face a civil trial in July 2018 for an alleged sexual assault incident at the Playboy Manion more than four decades ago, a California judge has ruled. Judy Huth has accused Cosby, 79, of giving her alcohol and then sexually abusing her in 1974 when she was 15. Cosby is scheduled to face a separate civil trial next June in a lawsuit filed by Chloe Goins, a former model who has accused Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her at the mansion in 2008. The court hearing on Tuesday comes less than two weeks after Cosby’s criminal trial for sexual assault in Pennsylvania ended in a mistrial when the jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict. Once beloved for his role as Heathcliff Huxtable in the 1980s television comedy The Cosby Show, Cosby has been accused of sexual assault from approximately 60 women, with the alleged incidents spanning from the mid-1960s to 2008. Cosby has maintained his innocence throughout and repeatedly denied the allegations. Judge Craig Karlan on Tuesday set July 30, 2018, as the trial date for Huth's lawsuit. The case had been partially delayed by Cosby's criminal charges.
