Grant Hackett’s shares stunning sonogram photo of unborn baby
<p>Olympic swimmer Grant Hackett has shared a special sonogram with the world after announcing he and his partner Sharlene Fletcher are expecting their first child together in July. </p>
<p>The sportsman also took to social media to reveal the gender of their new baby on Saturday. </p>
<p>The 39-year-old wrote in a caption: “Can’t wait for our little man to arrive in January!”</p>
<p>In the post, he added a sweet picture with him and Sharlene as well as a heartwarming sonogram of their baby. </p>

<p>Sharlene said in her own words they were “beyond happy to have a little one on the way”. </p>
<p>“I can’t believe I’m half way through my pregnancy!</p>
<p>“Some parts have felt like time has gone so fast and then there’s been days where they’ve felt like they’ve gone forever! I’m sure a lot of mama’s out there can relate!”</p>
<p>The couple excitedly announced their pregnancy to the world back in July to<span> </span><a href="https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entertainment/sydney-confidential/sharlene-fletcher-confirms-shes-14-weeks-pregnant-with-grant-hacketts-third-child/news-story/5cb65ebd1ad78c32e5d0a445d79c96c8"><em>The Sunday Telegraph. </em></a></p>
<p>“I felt I was going to hit 40 and I wanted another opportunity as a dad,” he said. </p>
<p>“The trouble with being divorced is you're a father part-time. I hate that.</p>
<p>“I knew I wanted more children but only with a committed person who was going to be a life partner”. </p>
<p>Grant shares a twins, Charlize and Jagger, nine, with ex-wife Candice Alley. </p>
<p>The happy news for the couple comes after Sharlene admitted she suffered a miscarriage in March this year that had been “challenging.. Physically, emotionally and spiritually,” she said. </p>
<p>“I’m lucky enough to have such a wonderful loving, caring, supportive partner who has really looked after me. He made me feel safe & loved when I was going through such a vulnerable time.”</p>
<p>They met on the Gold Coast in 2015, and began dating in August 2018. </p>
<p>The pair live in Melbourne, where Grant can be close to his two young children.</p>
