Meryl Streep steals the red carpet in unique and bold gown
<p>Hollywood heavyweight Meryl Streep looked to be in high spirits when she gracefully made her way down the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival in Italy on Sunday. </p>
<p>The 70-year-old actress had on a stylish, long-sleeved, dress with a multi-coloured floral print embroidered into the all over the gorgeous blue fabric. </p>
<p>Not one to shy away from a bold and pronounced statement, Streep also added a pair of red heels and a sleek pair of sunglasses. </p>
<p>The Oscar winner was all smiles for the camera, and waved to the crowd in the monochrome Givenchy frock which featured a saucy asymmetric hem, high neck style and a warm, friendly colour palette. </p>
<p>She appeared alongside co-stars and director of her next upcoming project,<span> </span>The Laundromat. </p>
<p>The film goes into the intricate details of the highly controversial Panama Papers - leaked documents from 2016 which show how a Panamanian law firm laundered money for the elite wealthy. </p>
<p>This is not her only rodeo however as a veteran actress and over 50 years in the industry - meaning the stunning 70-year-old has had a number of headline-worthy looks showed off on the red carpet. </p>
