<p>Olivia Newton-John's daughter, Chloe Lattanzi has opened up about a few health struggles in a candid video posted on Instagram. </p> <p>The 37-year-old daughter of the <em>Grease</em> star shared that she had been struggling with the effects of grief, around one year after her mother's passing. </p> <p>"Since my mum's passing and the year and a half with her going through cancer, I have not been OK," she said. </p> <p> "If I have forgotten to return your calls – I've had extreme memory loss, I've had difficulty getting out of bed. We totally all understand and take care of your body, mind and spirit," commented another. </p> <p>"Sending you love Chloe. <p>Olivia Newton-John's daughter has opened up about her grief journey on the one year anniversary of her mother's death. </p> <p>Chloe Lattanzi spoke candidly with <a href="https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/lifestyle/stellar/world-exclusive-chloe-lattanzi-on-the-first-anniversary-of-olivia-newtonjohns-death/news-story/9fcd4dccc2113fabbbe508e9c92520ee" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Stellar</em></a> magazine about what the last year has looked like for her and her family, as they still struggle with the reality of losing a loved one. </p> <p>Since Olivia's death last year, Chloe and her husband James moved into Olivia's ranch in California, where Chloe says she still feels the healing presence of her late mother. </p> <p>"I feel like she’s still alive," she said. "Even though I feel her around me in spirit, it’s a tangible place where I feel my mother."</p> <p>"I can walk on the soil and be like, her foot was here. I can sit on her favourite seat and know that she sat there a thousand times, and visualise sitting on her lap. It’s the last place she lived, where she crossed and I held her hand. She’s still alive there for me.”</p> <p>Chloe shared that the outpouring of love after Olivia's passing was overwhelming, as fans from around the world sent their thoughts and messages of love. </p> <p>“I got absolute oceans of love and support and connection. I’m kind of isolated on the ranch, and I’d have fans reaching out: ‘If you ever need anything, anyone to talk to… we love you so much.’"</p> <p>"It was the lifeboat, and beautiful in a way, all these people sending so much love to our family and loving my mother. They really lifted me out of dark places."</p> <p>Chloe is determined to carry on her mother's philanthropic work through the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre at Melbourne’s Austin Hospital, and the annual Walk for Wellness event, which will be celebrating 10 years in October. </p> <p>Since her mother's passing, Chloe and her family have worked tirelessly to continue her mother's legacy, and encourage others to get involved in the cause.</p> <p>“It means everything. [Olivia] said, ‘You’re going to carry the torch for me, darling, but you’re going to shine your own unique light.’ I want to rally and encourage everyone to get together, like my mum did."</p> <p>On the anniversary of Olivia's death, Chloe said she is sure she will feel "shattered", but will surround herself with loved ones and bask in happy memories of her mother. </p> <p>“I’m going to be spending the day with a mother figure, going to do the things that my mum liked to do. Aussie Olympic medallist marries billionaire F1 heiress

<p dir="ltr">Australian Olympic medallist Scotty James has tied the knot with Chloe Stroll in a lavish Italian wedding over the weekend.</p> <p dir="ltr">James, a four-time Olympian and two-time medallist, was introduced to Chloe, daughter of Formula One billionaire Lawrence Stroll, by her brother Lance who set them up in 2019.</p> <p dir="ltr">The wedding came nearly 18 months after Scotty proposed, and the pair took to Instagram to share pictures of the happy occasion.</p> <p dir="ltr">Chloe shared a series of photos with a simple infinity emoji, while Scotty shared behind the scenes clips from a boat ride around Venice.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Hi everyone. This is our first video as husband and wife - well, on my phone anyway,” he proudly said as he looked lovingly at his wife.</p> <p dir="ltr">“And as you can see behind us, the sun has risen. We’re on a boat back to the hotel - and we got married yesterday!”</p> <p dir="ltr">The beautiful bride donned an off-the-shoulder gown with a stunning floral lace detail and a matching flowing veil.</p> <p dir="ltr">The groom looked dapper in a black suit with a bow tie and beautiful white pocket rose.</p> <p dir="ltr">The wedding weekend included a stay at the Gritti Palace in Venice.</p> <p dir="ltr">Plenty of stars were in attendance including Scotty’s groomsman and best mate, F1 racer Daniel Ricciardo and his girlfriend Heidi Berger, also an F1 heiress.</p> <p dir="ltr">Scotty’s brother-in-law and <em>Sunrise</em> weather presenter, Sam Mac, was also in attendance after taking leave from the show.</p> <p dir="ltr">“So happy for you mate. "So like your mum": Chloe Lattanzi visits patients at ONJ Wellness Centre

<p>Olivia Newton-John was known for many things: mostly for being a giant of the Australian entertainment industry. </p> <p>But according to her daughter Chloe, her most important legacy was the work she did at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Centre. </p> <p>Since her mother died in August 2022 after a 30-year journey with cancer, Chloe is determined to continue her extraordinary work, and joined <a href="https://9now.nine.com.au/a-current-affair/the-olivia-newton-john-cancer-wellness-and-research-centre-with-family-and-staff/340a9404-e7ef-46f4-8e49-3d0f2e0fd654" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>A Current Affair</em></a>'s Ally Langdon to visit patients in the centre to hear their stories. </p> <p>Chloe Lattanzi dropped into the centre with her cousin Tottie Goldsmith, where she was greeted by patients who were over the moon to meet her.</p> <p>"Oh my god, you are so like your mum," one patient told Lattanzi as she squeezed her tight in a warm hug. </p> <p>"You're just beautiful like her … she's an Aussie treasure."</p> <p>"She's done so much and I'm so grateful for what she's done here because they (staff) are just amazing."</p> <p>Lattanzi said she first visited the ONJ Wellness Centre with her mum in 2019 and now she's "very passionate" about continuing her legacy.</p> <p>"I am very much looking forward to meeting the people who are here and connecting with them," Lattanzi said.</p> <p>"I hope to bring some kind of comfort and joy … because I know what they're going through."</p> <p>Patients in the centre were quick to praise the work Olivia Newton-John had done in creating the centre, sharing how much of a difference such an environment had while undergoing treatment. </p> <p>"Everything's serene and calm because it's a traumatic time and to have that sort of thing is really marvellous," another patient said.</p> <p>"It's a home away from home," Sergio, who is also a patient at the centre, added. </p> <p>Chloe said that it was an honour to be invited into the centre and felt her mother with her "in spirit". </p> <p>"I feel like she's inside of me and this is my purpose," Lattanzi said. </p> <p>Director of Austin Health Foundation Debbie Shiell was also at the centre when Lattanzi paid the patients a visit and said "Chloe gave them the gift that Olivia gave them".</p> <p>"Olivia gave them a break from here and love and healing energy and that was really special to witness and I have no doubt that those people you saw today will be beaming tomorrow," Shiell told Lattanzi.</p> <p>"This (wellness centre) is her vision, her legacy."</p> <p><em>Image credits: A Current Affair</em></p>

How Olivia Newton-John's family remember her

<p>Seven months on from the passing of Olivia Newton-John, her family are still navigating their emotional journey of grief. </p> <p>Her daughter Chloe Lattanzi and her husband John Easterling opened up about how they are remembering Olivia in all aspects of their life, as they believe she is still with them in spirit. </p> <p>Chloe and John told <em>A Current Affair</em>'s Ally Langdon that they regularly look back on the fond memories they shared as a family, and connect with her in a unique way. </p> <p>"I talk to her every day," Lattanzi said while remembering her late mum in the emotional interview.</p> <p>"She's always there and I wear her every day, so her energy is on my body," Lattanzi said as she touched a cross necklace around her throat.</p> <p>"But I would love to hold her again."</p> <p>John also looks back on their "15 extraordinary years together", saying "There was a little bit of magic."</p> <p>Chloe admitted that when she had to get up and speak at her mother's state memorial on Sunday, her "heart was beating out of her chest".</p> <p>"As soon as I stepped up there I felt my mum come inside of me, my body. I felt her energy … and it was supernatural. The love in the room carried me through that," she said. </p> <p>Lattanzi said she talks to her mother every day when she meditates or is walking, saying "It might sound crazy to some but whenever I have a doubt or I have a question I speak to her."</p> <p>Olivia Newton-John died in August 2022 after a long battle with cancer, which Chloe said her mother always handled in a positive way. </p> <p>Lattanzi said her mum was always very positive and never considered her cancer diagnosis as a "war or battle".</p> <p>"She wasn't in a battle or fighting cancer ... we were living life and living life well," Easterling added.</p> <p>Her daughter said despite her positive attitude, her mother also shared moments of vulnerability with her, which she wanted people going through their own cancer journeys to know was normal.</p> <p>"I don't want people who are going through cancer to think that it's not ok to break down and have a hard day, or cry, or be scared," Lattanzi said.</p> <p>"I know my mum would want them to know that."</p> <p>Chloe went on to say she believed her mum had comes to terms with dying, as she admitted, "I think she stayed for me and John."</p> <p><em>Image credits: A Current Affair</em></p>

"I trusted anyone": Olivia Newton-John's daughter shares drastic health decision

<p>Chloe Lattanzi has opened up about a recent health decision, announcing she is planning to reverse a lot of her cosmetic surgery enhancements. </p> <p>Chloe said she is going to have her breast implants removed, just months after her mother Olivia Newton-John died from a turbulent 30 year battle with breast cancer. </p> <p>Lattanzi, who has reportedly had $845,000 worth of plastic surgery over the years, took to Instagram to talk about her health.</p> <p>She shared that in trying to be the healthiest version of herself, she has already had fillers in her face dissolved and plans to remove her breast implants.</p> <p>“I’ve had the fillers removed from my face. When I had it done, I had body dysmorphia so I had very low self-esteem,” Lattanzi admitted.</p> <p>“I think I started doing (fillers) about 10 years ago,” she continued.</p> <p>“My face looked very puffy and strange. There’s a product called hyaluronidase that can take it out, it basically dissolves it, which is an ongoing process that I go through.”</p> <p>Speaking about her breast implants, Chloe said she “wasn’t aware” of the potential health problems that implants can bring.</p> <p>“I trusted anyone in a white coat and I wasn’t aware that there was any side effects or consequences,” she admitted.</p> <p>“I’m actually looking into removing them. It does cost a lot of money.”</p> <p>Lattanzi also spoke about her lip fillers, explaining she has injected them “so much” they are “permanently stretched out”.</p> <p>“Not that this is anyone’s business, but it hurt to see some of these comments and I just wanted to educate people,” she said.</p> <p>“You can believe me or not, but it’s the truth, from having them filled so much, they’re just stretched, I haven’t had them done in years.”</p> <p>Since her mother died in August after her journey with breast cancer, Lattanzi has been outspoken about “preventative care”.</p> <p>“I’m so excited to be carrying the torch for my mum continuing to not battle cancer, but finding out what’s causing it,” she said.</p> <div> </div> <p>“Preventive care was something she was very passionate about, you know we need to think about all the drugs that are put into our body."</p> <p><em>Image credits: Instagram </em></p>

<p dir="ltr">Olivia Newton-John's <em>Grease</em> co-star John Travolta has wished her a beautiful tribute for what would have been her 74th birthday. </p> <p dir="ltr">The actress would have celebrated her 74th birthday on September 26 but unfortunately lost her battle to breast cancer on August 8. </p> <p dir="ltr">John Travolta wished Olivia a loving tribute on his Instagram story with a photo of the pair in the classic 1978 musical movie.</p> <p dir="ltr">The photo showed the pair as lovebirds Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson with the caption, “Happy birthday my Olivia”.</p> <p dir="ltr">Olivia’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi also marked the special day with an intimate dinner with close family and friends. </p> <p dir="ltr">She shared a video of the event with everyone wishing Olivia a “happy birthday mama”.</p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; <p>Chloe Lattanzi has posted a heart-warming tribute to her late mother Olivia Newtown-John in an upcoming song.</p> <p>The 36-year-old told fans on Instagram that she was “terrified” when writing the track. Olivia Newton-John’s daughter shares never seen before footage

<p dir="ltr">Olivia Newton-John's daughter has shared a beautiful behind-the-scenes video of a duet she did with her mother.</p> <p dir="ltr">Chloe Rose Lattanzi shared the video to Instagram of her and her mum singing <em>Window In The Wall </em>at Olivia’s home studio.</p> <p dir="ltr">The 36-year-old could be seen smiling at her mother as the pair hugged, smiled and began to sing the beautiful song.</p> <p dir="ltr">“You are my lighthouse mama. My safe place. My heart space. It has been my honor and continues to be my honor to be your baby and best friend,” Chloe wrote.</p> <p dir="ltr">“You are an angel on earth and everyone touched by you has been blessed. I love you forever my life giver, my teacher, my mama.”</p> <p dir="ltr">The song was released in January 2021 and at the time Olivia knew it was one that she wanted to sing with her daughter.</p> <p dir="ltr">“I’ve always enjoyed singing duets more than singing on my own, and when I first heard this song, I knew immediately that I wanted to sing it with my daughter Chloe,” she previously said.</p> <p dir="ltr">“The lyrics and melody really resonated with me, and I hoped Chloe would feel the same way – and luckily, she did!”</p> <p dir="ltr">Chloe at the time also knew it was a song she wanted to perform with her mother when she played it for her.</p> <p dir="ltr">“When my mom played the song for me I knew I wanted to record it, not only because it was with my mom but, I felt the lyrics and message might help people see things from another perspective,” Chloe said.</p> <p dir="ltr">“We are all part of the same human race and if we listen to each other, respect each other and love each other - for both our likenesses and our differences - we might just understand each other a lot more.”</p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF; <p dir="ltr">Dame Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi shared a heartwarming snap of the pair together just three days before her death. </p> <p dir="ltr">The mother and daughter appeared in an open field smiling widely at the camera. </p> <p dir="ltr">“I worship this woman. Watch award-winning Nomadland on Disney+

<p><em>Nomadland</em> won three Academy Awards this year - for Best Picture, Best Director (Chloé Zhao) and Best Actress (Frances McDormand).</p> <p>The director - Chloé Zhao - has made a film with heart and passion and by choosing Frances McDormand to play the lead role, she made sure all this passion was conveyed so well.</p> <p>The movie revolves around Fern (played by McDormand), who, following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. McDormand produced the film as well, along with Peter Spears (<em>Call Me by Your Name</em>), Dan Janvey (<em>Beasts of the Southern Wild</em>), Mollye Asher (<em>The Rider</em>), and Zhao (<em>The Rider</em>).</p> <p><em>A</em>ademy Award nominee David Strathairn stars as well (<em>Good Night, and Good Luck</em>), along with actors Swankie, Bob Wells and Linda May, all of whom appeared in Jessica Bruder’s acclaimed book, which Zhao adapted for the screen.</p> <p>Zhao directed and edited the film, with Joshua James Richards (<em>God’s Own Country</em>) serving as the Director of Photography and Production Designer. The movie’s sound team was M. Wolf Snyder (<em>The Rider</em>), Sergio Diaz (<em>Roma</em>) and Zach Seivers (<em>Assassins</em>).</p> <p><strong>More on the awards</strong></p> <p>It was special to see Zhao make history by winning the award for Best Director because in the Academy’s 83-year history, she is only the second woman and the first woman of colour to ever receive this award.</p> <p>Frances McDormand won an Academy Award for Best Actress in the movie and this is her third time winning such an award. Surprise ruling over cruise ship toddler death

<p>A grandfather has been spared jail after dropping hi 18-month-old granddaughter from a cruise ship window.</p> <p>Salvatore Anello was sentenced to just three years’ probation by a court in San Juan, Puerto Rico, after he plead guilty to involuntary manslaughter in October 2020.</p> <p>Mr Anello will serve his probation in his home state of Indiana after the loss of little Chloe Wiegand, his lawyer Michael Winkleman has said.</p> <p>Chloe plunged 45 metres to her death after Mr Anello placed her onto an 11th floor ledge aboard the Royal Caribbean Cruises’ Freedom of the Seas ship in July 2019.</p> <p>She died instantly after she fell from the window ledge.</p> <p>Mr Anello believed the window was secured by a piece of glass and maintains he was completely unaware that the window was open.</p> <p>He told investigators at the time that he placed her there so she could knock on the glass like she enjoyed doing at her brother’s hockey games.</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.25px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7839843/chloe-1.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/73aaa4d710e34179a40685756cae028f" /></p> <p>Chloe’s parents Alan and Kimberly Wiegand have launched a legal claim against Royal Caribbean for negligence, arguing that an open window should not have been so close to a children’s area.</p> <p>A judge ruled on February 3 that the company can be sued for unlimited damages.</p> <p>A filing by the family read: “Royal Caribbean has demonstrably lied to this court and, in so doing, Royal Caribbean has created a false narrative to accompany Royal Caribbean’s carefully selected CCTV video upon which Royal Caribbean bases its motion to dismiss.”</p> <p>Royal Caribbean have said there was “no hidden danger” and that Mr Anello “knew the window was open”.</p> <p>They went on to say he should have used hiss “basic senses” to realise this.</p> <p>They also went on to say that camera footage showed the grandfather leaning through the open window just moments before he lifted Chloe onto the ledge.</p> <p>Chloe’s parents say that it was “physically impossible” for Mr Anello to lean out of the 11th floor window, despite what the cruise line alleges.</p> <p>They have remained supportive of Mr Anello during the legal proceedings.</p> <p>Royal Caribbean also claimed that the tinted handles on the windows would have indicated that it was open.</p> <p>Mr Anello says however that he is colourblind and therefore did not see that the window was open.</p>

<p>Olivia Newton-John’s daughter Chloe Lattanzi has been slammed for her controversial COVID-19 views which she shared on social media.</p> <p>The 34-year-old caused a stir when she said she “doesn’t agree” with the vaccines, claiming - without evidence - that they would most likely be harmful to people’s health.</p> <p>“Natural medicine saved my mom’s life. So natural medicine is the party I belong to. Not republican!!! Not democrat!” she wrote, in a post that has since been deleted.</p> <p>“What do you do when you don’t fit in a box!? When you are a vegan, cannabis growing, lgbtq supporting Buddhist that doesn’t agree with vaccines? Anyone relate?</p> <p>“I wear a mask when inside public places. Doesn’t mean I think they aren’t causing harm to little ones, and poor people that aren’t sick that have to suffocate 9 hour days. That when asked have cried to me because they can’t breathe and are now having health problems. I’m gonna regret this.”</p> <p>The theory that prolonged use of the medical masks causes oxygen deficiency (hypoxia) has been debunked.</p> <p>“Thin paper or cloth masks will not lead to hypoxia. Surgeons operate for hours wearing them. They don’t get these problems,” Prof Keith Neal, an infectious disease expert, told the<span> </span><a rel="noopener" href="https://www.bbc.com/news/53108405" target="_blank"><em>BBC</em></a>.</p> <p>Fans took issue with her statement, with one saying: “many people worldwide are infected and many have died. So I understand very well why people are scared.”</p> <p>“Airhead,” wrote another. “I thought you were smarter … some influencer. Unfollowing.”</p> <p>“You’re supposed to STAY INSIDE,” commented another.</p> <p>Lattanzi, who runs a medical marijuana farm in the US, also shared other social media user’s message about how they will refuse to “blindly” follow health experts’ advice throughout this global pandemic.</p> <p>“Sorry but not being in favour of lockdowns, masks and vaccines does NOT make me a member of the radical right or a ’radical’ of any kind,” the post read.</p> <p>“What I’m a member of is a community that supports exploring for yourself rather than blindly following politicians, scientists or doctors …”</p> <p>Channel 7’s<span> </span><em>The Morning Show<span> </span></em>entertainment Editor Peter Ford said the former<span> </span><em>Dancing With The Stars</em><span> </span>contestant “obviously knew that she was entering into pretty turbulent waters by expressing these opinions”</p> <p>“She’s an anti-vaxxer, her belief is very strong about natural medicine,” he explained.</p>

"Justice for Chloe": Unbearable choice for grandfather accused of cruise ship fatal fall

<div class="post_body_wrapper"> <div class="post_body"> <div class="body_text redactor-styles redactor-in"> <p>A grandfather accused in the fatal fall of his granddaughter Chloe from an 11th storey window of a cruise ship pleaded guilty on Thursday to negligent homicide.</p> <p>Salvatore "Sam" Anello said that he wanted to help end "this nightmare" for his family.</p> <p>His 18-month-old granddaughter Chloe slipped from his grip and fell 46 metres from an open window on a Royal Caribbean Cruises' Freedom of the Seas ship in July 2019 as the ship docked in Puerto Rico.</p> <p>Puerto Rico prosecutor Laura Hernandez said Anello would be sentenced on December 10th.</p> <p>“We have found justice for Chloe,” she said.</p> <p>A representative for Anello’s attorney, Michael Winkleman, said in a statement to America’s NBC TODAY that Anello will not serve any jail time and will serve his probation in Indiana.</p> <p>“This decision was an incredibly difficult one for Sam and the family, but because the plea agreement includes no jail time and no admission of facts, it was decided the plea deal is in the best interests of the family so that they can close this horrible chapter and turn their focus to mourning Chloe and fighting for cruise passenger safety by raising awareness about the need for all common carriers to adhere to window fall prevention laws designed to protect children from falling from windows,” Winkleman said in a statement.</p> <p>Winkleman also added that the family would continue its civil suit against Royal Caribbean with the goal of discovering why the window was allowed to be open.</p> <p>Anello, 51, said that he did not know that the window in the children's play area was open.</p> <p>“I wasn’t drinking and I wasn’t dangling her out of a window,” he said in a previous statement. He said he is colourblind and might not have realized the tinted window was open.</p> <p>“We will continue the fight for justice for Chloe and to hold Royal Caribbean accountable for its brazen failure to follow the standards designed precisely to prevent children from falling out of windows,” Winkleman said in his statement.</p> </div> </div> </div>

Grandfather changes to guilty plea in cruise ship toddler death

<p>A grandfather who allegedly dropped his 18-month-old granddaughter from the 11th floor of a cruise ship will change his plea to guilty, according to his lawyer.</p> <p>Salvatore “Sam” Anello, was charged with negligent homicide after Chloe Weigand fell from an open glass window on-board the Royal Caribbean Freedom of the Seas ship in July while it was docked at Puerto Rico.</p> <p>He and his family maintain that he is innocent, saying it was an accident as he wasn’t aware the window was open when he lifted the toddler up to bang on the glass – a game she enjoyed playing at home.</p> <p>But the family’s lawyer revealed on Wednesday that Mr Annello will now plead guilty to the charge so he can avoid spending time in prison.</p> <p>“This decision was an incredibly difficult one for Sam and the family, but because the plea agreement includes no jail time and no admission of facts, it was decided the plea deal is in the best interest of the family,” said Michael Winkleman in a statement.</p> <p>Speaking to the US<span> </span><em>TODAY<span> </span></em>show last year, Chloe’s parents, Kimberley and Alan Wiegand, said Mr Anello had been “very, very distraught” ever since her tragic passing.</p> <p>“You can barely look at him without crying, she was his best friend,” said Mr Wiegand.</p> <p>The family is now suing the cruise ship company, accusing them of negligence by allowing the window in the ship’s children’s play area to be open.</p> <p>“We still maintain this was a tragic, preventable accident that never would have occurred if Royal Caribbean followed the industry-standard window fall prevention codes that are designed for the singular purpose of preventing children from falling out of windows,” said Mr Winkleman.</p> <p>“I just remember screaming, ‘I thought there was glass, I thought there was glass’,” Mr Anello told CBS in November.</p> <p>“I still say it to myself. It’s just, I kind of relive it all the time and I just thought there was glass there. I don’t know what else to tell you.</p> <p>“It seems like it’s all not real. She’s such a beautiful little girl. Perfect little girl.”</p>

“I had to come back”: Olivia Newton-John’s emotional return to Australia

<p>Everyone loves Olivia Newton-John.</p> <p>Since she began her music career in the ‘60s, the Aussie legend has garnered fame all over the world because of her personality, achievements and support for those in need.</p> <p>Six decades later, she’s not planning to stop anytime soon.</p> <p>Instead, the 71-year-old wants to use her platform to help others “any way I can”.</p> <p>The singer-songwriter has backed several charities and is the founding patron of the Oliva Newton-John Cancer Institute. And soon, she will step up once again to perform at Fire Fight Australia, a national concert appeal to help those suffering as a result of the recent national bushfire crisis.</p> <p>“I’m pretty much retired, but when I heard they were doing this, I had to be part of it,” Oliva told<span> </span><em>TV WEEK</em>.</p> <p>“It’s so important, and I feel privileged that I’m able to help in some way. Australians are tough. We have a wonderful sense of spirit and humour, and those things will get us through.”</p> <p>Olivia will be joining her friend John Farnham at the concert, which has given her an excuse to return home. Currently, she and her husband John Easterling divide their time between California, Florida and Australia.</p> <p>“It [the bushfires’ devastation] has had an impact on a global scale and it breaks my heart,” she says. “I had to come back and be part of it [the concert].”</p> <p><span>She will also be cheering from the sidelines as her daughter Chloe Lattanzi is currently competing on </span><em>Dancing With The Stars</em><span>.</span></p> <p><span>“I encouraged her to just be herself,” said Olivia.</span></p> <p><span>“She’s in her own dancing shoes and they’re beautiful – she’ll do great.”</span></p>
