During a terrifying school shooting in Michigan, students' quick thinking help saved their lives.

As Ethan Crumbley, 15, went on a deadly rampage through Oxford High School, a group of teenagers and their teacher barricaded themselves in a classroom.

Staying silent, one student filmed their ordeal and shared it to TikTok.

The video shows a person, believed to be the gunman, attempt to enter the locked classroom by impersonating a police officer.

Yes?” a male teacher yells out noticing someone’s at the door.

“Sheriff’s office,” the male says from the other side of the door before adding, “it’s safe to come out”.

The students began to whisper amongst each other, believing their ordeal is over.

We’re not willing to take that risk right now,” the teacher says.

“I can’t hear you,” the male yells from the other side of the door.

The teacher repeats, “We’re not taking that risk right now.”

“Well, open the door and look at my badge, bro,” he says.

The students all begin to panic, noticing the alleged officer used the word "bro".

“He said ‘bro’. Red flag,” one of the male students says.

As the panic ensues, the students all stand and run towards the back window, before jumping out and running through the snow to safety.

Ethan Crumbley has been charged with terrorism and first-degree murder, as his deadly rampage claimed the lives of Tate Myre, 16, Hana St. Juliana, 14, and Madisyn Baldwin, 17.

The shooter's motive remain unknown, but the prosecutor found evidence which suggests the school shooting “was not an impulsive act” and may have been premeditated.
