UFO clouds form above Cape Town
UFO-like cloud formations forming above Cape Town have left locals scratching their heads.
Many have taken to social media to share this unnerving weather pattern.
And while it may look like an alien invasion it’s actually a strange cloud formation.
This eerie cloud formation is a phenomenon known as lenticular clouds, caused when high winds blow over rough terrain, such as mountains and valleys.
