Tip 1: If you want it, order it. If you are unsure if you will like a dish while cruising order it anyway. If you dont like it, you can simply request for an exchange or order additional samples of food so you can get a feel for everything on the menu.
Tip 2: Many first-time cruisers do not realise you can order as much as you want while eating on a cruise (within reason of course). You purchased the food when you booked the cruise, so get as much from it as you can.
Tip 3: Try a specialty restaurant. Although spending money on a cruise might make your stomach turn hear us out first. A $25 or $30 per person specialty restaurant on a vessel is the top notch of cruise dining. Why not try it once to experience some of the best service cruising has to offer?
Tip 4: Get into the late-night buffets and cafes. A great aspect to dining is the 24/7 access to delicious desserts, pastries and other foods to satisfy late-night cravings. Try them out at an odd time where your stomach is begging to be fed you will not be disappointed.
Tip 5: Arrange table accommodations before the cruise. Many tables seat 4-8 people, however you can request a table for two if you prefer however, do this before the cruise and dont let it be an afterthought. Its easier for everyone this way.
Tip 6: While room service can be extremely convenient and extremely fun if you have never tried it before it is important to remember the menu is limited and doesnt offer anything new to the table. Youre also meant to tip the staff person who brings your food.
